Description6-trans-12-epi-Leukotriene B4, also known as 6-trans-12-epi-LTB4 or 12-epi-δ(6)-trans-leukotriene B4, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as leukotrienes. These are eicosanoids containing a hydroxyl group attached to the aliphatic chain of an arachidonic acid. Leukotrienes have four double bonds, three (and only three) of which are conjugated. Thus, 6-trans-12-epi-leukotriene B4 is considered to be an eicosanoid. Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on 6-trans-12-epi-Leukotriene B4.
